was looking out window to enjoy the weather when i first noticed high flying jet. i observed jet for a moment when i saw it pass a bright light apparently higher in sky.assumed it was another plane but could see any detail.got my camera with 18-135mm af lens to get a shot but the af could not focus.switched to a manuel focus 500mm cat.set to infinty. set camera to shuter priority at 1000/sec.took one shot before lost object overhead.my building now blocked view.on reveiwing photo i still could not tell what type of aircraft it was. zoomed all the way on image and can only see three white lights in a triangular formation.the space between lights appears same as sky.i then took photos of jets with same camera/lens setup,but at 2000/sec speed for comparison. the jet aircraft are easily seen.
