The Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico has become a UFO hot spot in the last decade. Dozens of UFO sightings have been captured on video around this Volcano. Some of them obvious hoaxes and others are still unexplained. On Oct. 25th 2012 a television station in Mexico broadcast a cylindrical shaped UFO landing in the Popocatepetl volcano. The footage was captured by a time lapse surveillance camera used to monitor the surface of the volcanoes activity. This alleged UFO landing has become the talk of the town in the last few weeks. Was it a UFO, a meteor, or was the footage tampered with? See for yourself below.
Although this strange object in the sky cannot be identified, it has been regarded with skepticism by the scientific community. "I believe it to be far beyond the crater and, in fact, to be a meteor captured on the successive video frames."
"My gut instinct also tells me there is something 'off' with the image of the object," Hansen said. "It seems almost superimposed on the volcano video, as if it's in the foreground and not by the volcano. There's a slight shadow around it as well, which leads me to believe some sort of embossing effect may have been used with computer editing software in an attempt to give it the illusion of dimensionality." - The Huffington Post
There have been many unexplained UFO sightings captured around this volcano since 2000.
What's interesting is the bright cigar shaped UFO that was captured at the Popocatepetl volcano closely resembles another recent UFO sighting that happened in Kentucky on October 16, 2012. A very bright cigar-shaped UFO appeared in the sky above Pike County, Kentucky.
Is there a scientific explanation for these sightings? Or is it possible that an advanced civilization exists somewhere in the 200 billion stars that make up the Milky Way galaxy? After all, a volcano would certainly qualify as a potential energy source for transient extraterrestrials or their robot scouts.
