My friend didn't see it when it was gigantic, she was on the other side of the pool house. Then we walked back toward lounge chairs, and I see it again suddenly across the sky to the northwest. I thought it might be a second thing I was seeing. I told my friend/neighbor, "Look! there it is again!" She saw it too and it was flying around crazy like and it was far away again and the LIGHT FROM THE SUN REFLECTED OFF OF IT AND IT WAS VERY METALLIC. and when it moved back and forth and fluttering or whatever you call it, up and down, it looked white, black & silvery (but thick silver, like fluid silver), when it changed direction, it took on a different "color", and it was like a boomerang kind of, but it wasnt a boomerang at all when it was gigantic. I don't know WHAT that shape was. I've never seen that shape before. Just that it had round things on it. I think the beige/pink color was the desert sand (las vegas) reflecting off it's surface. And then it got tiny as it moved toward northwest and disappeared. My neighbor/friend and I have both complained of missing time, alot of time. We just never thought it might be due to aliens or whatever that was. But now, I think it might. Too much of a coincidence that she and I lose time and that we saw what we saw together. If she wasn't with me to see it, I would not have believed my eyes. Last night I went to empty trash at 2:00am(?). I "lost time" & found myself in the back left corner of my complex, not able to remember how I got there. There would be no reason for me to go there. all of a sudden, I found myself there, and things looked "weird", can't explain it. I felt lost. I came home and i was gone awhile but i don't know how long. I am completely freaked out. So is my neighbor/friend. We are educated and intelligent.
