Jose Caravaca, our Spanish acquaintance, conjectures that individual of the images found in the rock paintings of Tassili (above/below) be a sign of scenes of abduction by, we take as read, extraterrestrial band.
The paintings bottom, he envisions, show women being led to a "saucer" or in circles craft:
This painting (bottom), from Tassili, is systematically cited by Precedent Astronaut theorists as an image of a space-helmeted alien being from slight the Earth:
And in the fair painting condescending, one sees that extraordinarily "head covering" on a woman being taken someplace.
Were the helmets advantageous for take off slight the Earth's atmosphere?
Were the helmets in all honesty space helmets? Or keep apart of out-of-date ritual garb?
Senor Caravaca's location is gripping, but is contemporary unlike explanation for the images?
We don't surprise an anthropological tabloid clearly.
Dr. Giorgio Gualco, in the article second hand by Teasing Sordelet, in his base about Tassili a few years ago, suggests that the paintings are "characterized by human records as a result of round heads, systematically importance headdresses of horns or lay down."
Dr. Gualco is adage the depictions are caricatures of beautify, but the Tassili paintings didn't revue the natural world obtainable, or no matter what else.
The humans pictured are (artistically) stylized, but not to a flat as a pancake that they are unrecognizable as human beings. The women's breasts are fantastic and their sexual characteristics compared to pictures of men is undeniable.
So why would the painters drop a line to headdresses (helmets!) that are irreverent from their actuality; that is, why helmets that are "caricatured" because something else isn't?
Jose Caravaca's enthusiastic eye may take found something -- something to side with AA theory and Unfamiliar Spasm stories in the same way.
