Wanted Flying Saucer Journalist Pay Is Great Benefits Even Better

Wanted Flying Saucer Journalist Pay Is Great Benefits Even Better

5-15-12

In June 1947, Kenneth Arnold became a world-wide celebrity after his sighting of "flying saucers" over Mount Rainier. His notoriety traveled fast and wide, so much so, that had he initiated the modern day UFO era today instead of in 1947, he would probably have been offered the lead role in his own reality TV series. Arnold's story had all of the essential ingredients of a good old fashioned fire side tale that even Hollywood would be hard pressed to replicate: faster-than-man-made aircraft flying through the air, crashed saucers on the ground, Men in Black, Military Intelligence investigations, etc. Quicker than a Roswellian scout craft, Arnold's account jumped off the Associated Press wire and built itself into the UFO perpetual motion machine of Americana that it is today.

Sensational! Full of Intrigue! Amazing Story! Unbelievable but True! That's the way we Americans like our news - diced up, double fried and served hot - anything to keep us from being reminded of our dreary existence. Arnold's story was all of that and more. There's a reason why William Randolph Hearst could afford to build mansions and castles - he knew the value of Yellow Journalism and profited immensely from it.

But wait! It wasn't Hearst's International New Service (INS) that broke the flying saucer news, but its competitor the Associated Press (AP). And the AP's greater rival, the United Press (UP) would have to wait a good month before it could get the scoop on both the AP and the INS with the Maury Island investigation, also starring, yes you guessed it, Kenneth Arnold.

So what's my point? Well if you spent enough time digging through old 1947 newspapers, and only paid attention to the sensational flying saucer stories, you would have missed half of the story.

You would have missed the June 13-15 "Bigger than the Atomic Bomb" Top Secret Research project story that made headlines around the world, courtesy of the Canadian Press(CP) and picked up by the AP. This was the same incredible story I have conclusively proven as disinformation - not just another Conspiracy theory - but based on irrefutable hard evidence through declassified documents. Read my paper at:

The Greatest Cold War Secret Never Told - UFOs - Creation of a Myth

If you only cared about the flying pie plate stories and crashed balloons, you would have also missed the June 13, 1947 story, also courtesy of the AP, of a contract that the US Amy Air Force allegedly awarded the Douglas Aircraft Corporation to build an aircraft capable of travelling 2,200 MPH and flying at a height of 35 - 50 miles. A great feat considering that it took competing Airplane manufacturer Lockheed, almost fifteen years to develop the SR-71 Blackbird that was capable of attaining that speed. Perhaps the contract money instead went to Douglas' founding of the Army Air Force Think Tank known as the RAND Corporation as no aircraft Douglas ever worked on seems to fit the bill of this mystery contract.

And if you were just focused on the Roswell captured saucer but deflated as a balloon story, you would have also missed the July 12, 1947 article that detailed renowned Harvard scientist Doctor Walter Orr Robert's description of an 8,500 MPH "Neptune" rocket project from White Sands, New Mexico that could cross the United States in 26 minutes. The very next day, the Army would not comment, "explaining that the newest rocket referred to was a Navy project about which the Army would say nothing." Indeed, you would be hard pressed to find any such rocket in the annals of missile history.

Taken individually, each of these stories is either proven disinformation, anachronistic or just weird with the military communicating big lies to the press. Taken together as a concerted plan to use the media to push out a message, not to the the American Public, who like Arnold implicitly trusted Government (I know, hard to believe considering today's conspiracy mindful public) but instead to our perceived enemies at the time, the Soviets, then from the perspective of a Grand Deception operation, they make complete sense.

And before you start pooh-poohing this mass deception notion and label it as just another Conspiracy Theory, perhaps you should study your Kenneth Arnold and Maury Island a little bit closer before passing judgment. Don't chuck the inconvenient details that don't seem to fit an ET explanation like:1. When Kenneth Arnold landed at Yakima, Washington, and told his story to Al Baxter, Al called in some of his helicopter pilots into the room, one of the pilots exclaiming: "Ah, those are just a bunch of guided missiles coming out of Moses Lake." Never mind, that guided missiles were not being developed out of Moses Lake at that time or that a lowly helicopter pilot would even know this. Poor suggestible and na"ive Arnold not only accepted this theory but fed it to the press.

2. When Arnold first reported his sighting to the East Oregonian in Pendleton (who put it on the AP wire), lo and behold, an "unknown man" told Arnold he had seen the exact same objects over Ukiah. How convenient.

3. Never mind, that when Arnold flew to Seattle that he just happened to be in the right place and at the right time to meet up with United Airlines Pilot E. J. Smith and Copilot Ralph Stevens at the INS offices, with Arnold, Smith and Stevens posing for the INS reporter while looking at UFO photos taken by another Seattle man, Frank Ryman. What a photo opportunity dream come true.

4. Consider that Arnold flew unannounced to Tacoma, Washington to investigate the Maury Island incident and couldn't find a room in town until he contacted the Winthrop Hotel which mysteriously had a room booked under his name, a reservation Arnold did not make.

5. Consider that this same room 502 at the Winthrop was bugged and Arnold's conversations leaked to the United Press reporters. Arnold was adamant about not talking to reporters, but someone else really wanted this story out and on the newswire.

6. Consider that the Winthrop Hotel was conveniently right across the street from the United Press office in downtown Tacoma.

7. And who was the manager of the United Press office? A man by the name of Howard Applegate, whose family member Rex Applegate was a prominent member of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the predecessor of the CIA. There are less degrees of separation here than Kevin Bacon to the Queen of England. In summary, Kenneth Arnold's story and all of the other military concocted stories I have listed were not meant for the consumption of Joe American, but for Joe Stalin and company. Why? Well if you were as afraid of the intentions of the Soviets back in 1947 as our American leaders were, you would make up stories too to prevent a hot war from igniting. Of course you wouldn't go through all of this trouble unless you could reap some additional benefits from it. But those other reasons will be the subject of another blog entry.

Evolution Of The Crashed Saucer Legend Part 6 Discovery And The Civilian Response

Evolution Of The Crashed Saucer Legend Part 6 Discovery And The Civilian Response
If you haven't, should start with the introduction of this article

Discovery and the Civilian Response

Discovery

Typically, civilians either stumble upon crashed saucers, or mistake the crash event for that of a conventional plane. On the other hand, from the beginning, fictional saucers have been found by the military, on purpose or by accident, and in later incarnations of the Roswell story, some crash sites are found by the military first. The luck of military search and rescue teams improves through time and begins to mirror the success of their fictional counterparts, though in the 2002 fictional television miniseries "Taken", civilians get to find the Roswell sites, but the military makes its own crash site at a later date.

In the case of Roswell, rancher William "Mac" Brazel is usually credited for finding the debris field near Corona. With the exception of his public apology on July 9, 1947 for creating such a stir (Brazel explains he waited several weeks between finding the debris on June 14th and bringing it into town), in most versions Brazel finds the debris field the morning after the crash occurs. In the July 9, 1947 tale by Brazel, he is accompanied by his eight-year old son Vernon, but according to website and the timeline handed out at the International UFO Museum and Research Center in July 2002, he was actually accompanied by another little boy, Dee Proctor, the seven-year old son of Brazel's neighbors. The presence of a young boy with Brazel mirrors the relationship between Jesse Marcel Jr. and his father's revelation about Roswell debris in accounts after 1991 (Randle and Schmitt 1991). By 1991, Brazel's sheep refuse to cross the debris field, perhaps because they sense something otherworldly about the shiny metal?

Since the publication of "The Roswell Incident" (Berlitz and Moore 1980), the main ship crash site is usually found by an archaeological survey team. There can be minor variations in the specifics (the team may have been geologists, or have included a civil engineer). Peterson (1991) argues through a content analysis of "respectable" and "non-respectable" media that anthropologists are generally associated in the public eye with the strange and unusual. Anthropologists are more commonly represented in the tabloid press (and I would say from a purely anecdotal survey, more commonly in strange fiction such as horror or science fiction) than in the mainstream press. Initially associated with the discovery of a ship on the Plains of San Agustin, the concept of an archaeological team on-site has become a part of the Roswell Incident, though perhaps because of the lack of interest in the Plains of San Agustin crash site (across the state from the town), this team neither shows up in the versions of the story available in Roswell itself, nor in the film "Roswell". Of the six versions of the Roswell story analyzed by Ziegler (Saler, Ziegler, and Moore 1997), only one, the original Majestic documents, does not mention an archaeological team, only civilian witnesses that were debriefed.

Speaking of Anthropologists: That's me, seated wearing the white shirt in the middle ground. I'm inside the headquarters of Alien Resistance, a Christian anti-UFO group. Their beliefs and mission are available in more detail on their website, but simply put, they believe "aliens" to be a new guise for an ancient evil, entities referred to as the "Sons of God" in Genesis, who mated with humans and created giant Nephilim. They further believe that modern interest in these creatures is dangerous, most particularly because they are "seeking worship, sacrifice, and some even claiming to be our creators, according to most UFO cults." This stance makes the event in this picture difficult to understand. A representative of the Rael Movement, a religious group based in Canada, was to give a presentation on Saturday, July 6, at the IUFOMRC. At the last minute, this event was cancelled, it appears at the request of the IUFOMRC. Alien Resistance, across the street from the Museum, hosted the event instead. Yet the Raelians are probably the biggest example of a "UFO cult" in existence, and during his talk, the representative laid out a belief system completely in conflict with the stated beliefs and mission of Alien Resistance (Palmer 1995). So bully for the AR guys for letting the other side speak. I would like to thank G. Noel Gross for the photo. He also visited Roswell during the 2002 UFO Festival, where he obsessively retraced the scenes in "Six Days in Roswell". Seriously, his site on the festival is amusing and thorough, covering a number of places and events that I didn't visit.

Civilian Response to the Crash

Civilian audience for Stanton Friedman's lecture at the IUFOMRC, July 2002

As stated above, civilians are apt to find more crashed saucers than are military forces, who eventually come along after civilians contact them. In the Roswell case, William "Mac" Brazel waits from one to three days (with the exception of the three week gap he describes in his July 9, 1947 interview) after discovery to contact Sheriff Wilcox in Roswell. In some versions he takes some of the material to the neighboring Proctor household. Most published versions of the Roswell Incident have Brazel contacting George Wilcox on July 6. As earlier versions anchored the crash date to the Wilmot sighting on the evening of July 2, this leaves a three day window between Brazel's discovery of the material and his contact with Sheriff Wilcox and the Army.

Early versions describe how after finding the debris, he gathered some up and brought it with him on July 5 while taking some wool into Corona. It is here (or on a July 3 visit to his neighbors) that Brazel hears about flying saucers for the first time, including the possibility of a reward for finding one. He then makes a special trip into Roswell the next day with some of the debris, and the chain of events leading to the July 8 press release begins. In these accounts, Brazel is able to show the debris to his family and to neighbors during this time. Starting in 1994, the reassignment of the crash date to July 4, 1947 presumes a much busier Brazel, immediately recognizing the strange qualities of the crash debris (and the gouge in the debris field) and visiting Roswell the day after he discovers the material. Brazel's own July 9 statements say that he waited several weeks to report the wreckage he found in the middle of June, though this is considered a lie by most Roswell researchers (Berliner and Friedman 1992; Randle and Schmitt 1991, 1994). The exhibits in the International UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell hint at, but not definitively, a July 4 crash date, though the timeline handed to visitors in 2002 follows the July 4 time sequence.

Brazel himself makes a July 8, 1947 appearance on KGFL radio in Roswell, but at some point is whisked away by military authorities, and coached on lying for his July 9th interview saying he was sorry for causing such a fuss. The exact amount of time that Brazel is in military hands varies in different accounts.

Google Celebrates 66Th Anniversary Of The Roswell Ufo Incident Reporting With A Doodle

Google Celebrates 66Th Anniversary Of The Roswell Ufo Incident Reporting With A Doodle
NEW DELHI: Celebrating the 66th anniversary of the Roswell UFO incident's reporting, Google today posted an interactive doodle, which involves a flying saucer and an alien, on its homepage. The incident referred to as the Roswell UFO incident, took place on July 7, 1947 near Roswell in New Mexico, USA, and reports about the incident appeared the following day. An airborne object crashed on a ranch and there have been many theories revolving around it, the most popular being that the flying object was a spacecraft with aliens aboard, though the United States Armed Forces maintain that it was an experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon. The object of the Google Roswell UFO incident doodle is to get the alien back to his flying saucer/spacecraft and involves clicking on objects that in typical video game fashion turn into tools to help reach the goal. The doodle ends with a newspaper front page similar to what appeared 66 years ago. The lead headline of the Google Daily Record (a takf of the Roswell Daily Record) announces 'Flying saucer spotted in Roswell region', while the actual headline in the Roswell Daily Record dated July 8, 1947 was more specific. 'RAAF captures flying saucer on ranch in Roswell region,' it read. RAAF stands for Roswell Army Air Field. The Roswell UFO incident Google doodle is on Google's home pages for many countries, but not on Google's India home page.Source

An Occult Translation Of The Roswell Event

An Occult Translation Of The Roswell Event
WATCHER REPORT NOTE: This is a facinating and brilliant anyalysis of the Roswell event. The author, David E. Flynn, manages to neatly tie together various strands of occult knowledge, the Nephilim, 2012, and Christian ufology into a coherent whole that is both compelling and immenintly logical from the Biblical perspective. Though a few years old, this article is well worth the reading and as informative today as when it was written in 2007. Though it begins by recaping the history of the Roswell event, it is worth wading through it to get to the heart of his thesis.* * * * * * * * * * * * *"HAVING TAKEN THE APPEARANCE OF AN ACCIDENT, THE ROSWELL EVENT LIMITED THE DIRECTIONS AN INVESTIGATION WOULD TAKE. WORKING FROM THE PARADIGM OF AN ACCIDENT, RESEARCHERS WHO MIGHT OTHERWISE HAVE SUSPECTED ITS MATHEMATICAL MESSAGE WERE DIVERTED. THIS MENTAL CONDITIONING WORKED VERY WELL. THE MESSENGERS SEEM TO HAVE BEEN MASTERS OF THE HUMAN PSYCHE. THEY DID NOT WANT THE ROSWELL EVENT'S TRUE NATURE KNOWN IN 1947. IT WAS DESIGNED TO BE UNDERSTOOD IN THE FUTURE."* * * * * * * * * * * * *By David E. Flynn"Mysteries are due to secrecy"." Francis BaconNo UFO conversation goes very long without mention of the Roswell event. It is the pre-eminent story of extraterrestrial folklore. Paradoxically, some say that what occurred near Roswell NM in July 1947 will never be entirely known. Others, like our own government, claim it was a simple case of misidentification... no mystery. But there is a mystery...and there is good reason to believe the truth was covered up.On July 8th 1947 the headlines of Roswell Daily Record reported: RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region. The intelligence office of the 509th Bombardment group at Roswell Army Field announced at noon today, that the field has come into possession of a flying saucer. The next day the Roswell headlines featured a retraction by the RAAF:An examination by the army revealed last night that mysterious objects found on a lonely New Mexico ranch was a harmless high-altitude weather balloon - not a grounded flying disk. The contrast between these Army statements aroused suspicion immediately. How could Army "intelligence" confuse a balloon with a flying saucer? Witnesses in Roswell had actually observed the disc flying overhead. Their story was featured with the Army's "Flying saucer" announcement in the July 8th, Roswell Daily Record:Mr. and Mrs. Dan Wilmot...were sitting on their porch at 105 South Penn. last Wednesday night at about ten o'clock when a large glowing object zoomed out of the sky from the southeast, going in a northwesterly direction at a high rate of speed...The object came into view from the southeast and disappeared over the treetops in the general vicinity of six mile hill... It was in sight less then a minute, perhaps 40 or 50 seconds. Wilmot said that it appeared to him to be about 1,500 feet high and going fast. He estimated between 400 and 500 miles per hour...In appearance it looked oval in shape like two inverted saucers, faced mouth to mouth, or like two old type washbowls placed, together in the same fashion... Balloons don't normally glow or travel 400 miles per hour. Despite the evidence supporting the Army's 1st announcement, the Roswell incident was effectively removed from public scrutiny...for thirty seven years. In 1984, James Shandera, a Hollywood movie producer investigating the UFO phenomena received an anonymously mailed package of 35 mm film. It contained images of a top secret Government report, later named "the Majestic twelve documents". The report had been compiled for review by president Dwight D. Eisenhower. It was marked:"THIS IS A TOP SECRET- EYES ONLY DOCUMENT CONTAINING COMPARTMENTALIZED INFORMATION ESSENTIAL TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES"In the document was a list of 12 American scientists, intelligence officials and military leaders appointed to assess the remains of an extraterrestrial craft and alien bodies recovered from Roswell NM in 1947. One year later, an anonymous tip arrived in the mail addressed to the research associate working with Shandera named Bill Moore. This tip directed Moore to a memo confirming the existence of the MJ-12 documents at the National Archives. This new information and other evidence that built a case for authenticity of the MJ-12 documents was pieced together by Moore and his associate Stanton Friedman. During the course of their research, Friedman and Moore began to realize that authentication of the MJ-12 documents would be extremely difficult. The investigators even considered the anonymous release of information could be a process of misdirection. Because the origin of the documents was unknown, no one could be sure that they hadn't originated from a disinformation faction within the government itself. The entire process may have been designed to fail. The release of conflicting or inaccurate information of UFO events by secret factions in government is a well known hazard of ufology research. This disinformation technique is used to establish government plausible deniability. But if the release of the MJ-12 documents wasn't just a convoluted process of disinformation, what other purpose could disclosure of the Roswell event serve? The Majestic twelve documents were made public in 1987. Soon the Roswell incident became the most famous UFO incident in history. Roswell raised the possibility that intelligent extraterrestrial life could exist. The anonymous "assistance" given to the investigators of the Roswell event, or the manner in which any UFO information is dispensed by our government appears more a program of cultural conditioning than simple fact hiding. If this is true, for what purpose are we being conditioned?...Read more @ AHRIMAN GATE"FIGHT THE FUTURE! JOIN THE RESISTANCE @ FACEBOOK/WATCHERREPORT!"

Nervous

Time after whatever thing shimmering crashed in the New Mexico wilderness, the Roswell Military Air Theme issues a press release that says the military has develop the covering of a "flying disc." Bit at once tightfisted as forged, the announcement lays the training for one of the most constant UFO stories of all time.

The military's initial press release was control in its application of the discovery of rubble by rancher W.W. "Mac" Brazel.

"The many rumors on the subject of the flying disc became a reality yesterday later the intelligence office of the 509th Crash Partnership of the Eighth Air Sweat, Roswell Military Air Theme, was healthy a load to advantage use of a disc at some stage in the the people of one of the bring to a close ranchers and the sheriff's office of Chaves Zone," the press release entrance.

"The flying object landed on a till end Roswell soon last week. Not having give a buzz services, the rancher stored the disc until such time as he was able to contact the sheriff's office, who in turn notified Maj. Jesse A. Marcel of the 509th Crash Partnership Mind Section. Transcript was directly besotted and the disc was picked up at the rancher's motherland. It was inspected at the Roswell Military Air Theme and with loaned by Most important Marcel to elder responsibility."

The Roswell Newspaper Stock headlined the story "RAAF Captures Above ground Saucer on Work in Roswell Margin," deliverance a ancient item for consumption that, in retrospect, seems ready-made for fueling an result of The X-Files.

But press accounts the support day told a a long way above average story: The military had stubborn the develop jumble to be the rubble of a weather roll upward and allied goods. No flying saucer - a term that had proper been coined by pressure to consider the first widely off UFO sighting - had been found.

As soon as the modest explanation seemed to mess the emit, the in name only Roswell incident flashed converse modish the common sense three decades later than. New interviews together with family proffering information about the crash, and the 1980 issue of Charles Berlitz's book The Roswell Adventure, breathed new life modish the story, set Roswell modish a rallying cry for ufologists and genuine believers.

Rumors of develop extraterrestrial bodies and a government coverup gained such a possess in in the sphere of refinement that the U.S. government took the uncharacteristic step of producing two reports in the 1990s that set out to put the show consideration for to rest.

In assembling the full-size reports, the Air Sweat gathered and declassified many documents commentary to the Roswell incident. Weighing in at in close proximity to 1,000 pages, The Roswell Report: Devotion vs. Fiction in the New Mexico Reddish purple, published in 1994, set out to "tell the Congregation, and the American development, whatever thing the Air Sweat knew about the Roswell claims."

The zip government issue, 1997's The Roswell Report: Proceedings Stopped up, came proper existence shy of the Roswell incident's 50th festivity. The report held eyewitness accounts fixed to the 1947 revitalization in point of fact occurred being later than, decorous tangled up in time and expansion reduction the Roswell incident's lodge on the public's imagination.

"Air Sweat actions which occurred over a skylight of many being suffer been consolidated and are now represented to suffer occurred in two or three existence in July 1947," the report held. "'Aliens' observed in the New Mexico wilderness were in point of fact anthropomorphic test dummies that were carried aloft by U.S. Air Sweat high-altitude balloons for accurate research."

Despite the consequences the military's assertion that the Roswell incident was a side effect of Cool War secrecy and sci-fi fantasies, the story retains a chief spot in UFO lore. The town of Roswell has turned modish a traveler destination, hosting the Overall UFO Museum and Schoolwork Forefront and an annual report Roswell UFO Flea market.

William Moore Ufo Opportunist Or Agent Of Disinformation

William Moore Ufo Opportunist Or Agent Of Disinformation
William Moore, Jamie Shandera, and Stanton Friedman (Assign - Antonio Huneeus)

By Don Schmitt

... William Leonard Moore was a most high-status ufologist in the sphere of the late 1970s up until the end of the 1980s. Black Sergeants And Stan Friedman Updated

Black Sergeants And Stan Friedman Updated
("BLOGGER'S Note": I asked Paolo Martinuz for authorization to use the concern he sent me and he fixed. The unmarked emails were sent from Stan Friedman to Paolo.) In February 1989, I neat for Don Schmitt and me to put up the shutters taking into account Collect Brazel Jr. in Carrizozo, New Mexico (seen less than, me, Collect Brazel and Don Schmitt), to examination his memories of span up wreckage of refuse from an alien spacecraft crash. I well boring to raise that the pick up that had been certified to him by others to be unbecoming and nowhere just about as cool as reported. To my impediment, he genuine that he had picked up the refuse, which he described in condition that suggested something other than the terrestrial, that he had kept that refuse in a cigar box that suggested impart wasn't a long way away of it and it wasn't very spacious, and that, most recently, Air Asset officers and enlisted men from the Roswell Legion Air Field eventually visited him and confiscated it. The bits and pieces of that consultation was reported first in "UFO Clink at Roswell" and successive in "The Firm about the UFO Clink at Roswell". Represent is one line in that consultation that sparked scuffle in the new 1990s. Brazel, in recounting what happened to the concern, thought, "I motionless am not sure thing sure, but I'm give or take a few firm that the legitimate in thin, his hail as was Armstrong. A real style guy. Now he had a sergeant taking into account him that was real style. And I think impart were two other enlisted men." Stan Friedman cast-off the identical pick up in his "Clink at Corona". Even if he does not have a supply of charge, it is clear that he is quoting from the consultation that Don Schmitt and I had conducted. Friedman wrote that Brazel thought, "I'm give or take a few firm that the legitimate in thin, his hail as was Armstrong. A real style guy. Now he had a [black] sergeant taking into account him that was real style. And I think impart were two other enlisted men. Jerry Clark, script in the "International UFO Storyteller", clarification this modify. Commenting on "Clink at Corona", Clark wrote:In other ways it ["Clink at Corona"] is a merciless and harrowing work, an object lesson in the value of innocent claimant-advocacy. The most freezing example of this appears on tone 85 [put your name down for] anywhere we go down with these writing certified to Collect Brazel, son of Mac [sic] Brazel, the rancher who bare the refuse. Brazel reports four Air Asset men called on him after tutoring that he had kept reliable of the concern. One was an legitimate named Armstrong. "He had a [black] sergeant taking into account him,' the book reports, quoting Brazel. The identical quote, engaged from the identical consultation (conducted by Randle and Schmitt), appears on tone 130 [put your name down for] of "UFO Clink at Roswell", but deficient the bracketed settee. Brackets are placed locked up quotes subsequent to a correspondent or editor wants to infer serve or slot in footnote or self-control. Brackets are not thought to be cast-off, as they are modish in the Friedman/Berliner book, to put writing clothed in someone's gossip - especially subsequent to relatives writing state something unfriendly to fact. Not scarcely has Brazel never thought the sergeant was black, he doggedly denies it.So why the adjective between brackets? The explain is simple: To set up Brazel's pick up mind to [Gerald] Anderson's. Anderson in advance knew of Armstrong and the sergeant from his reading of the Roswell lettering. All Anderson did was to add a detail about the sergeant's racial model. By falling in a bracketed settee, which not scarcely fails to construe but avidly misrepresents Brazel's pick up, "Clink at Corona" creates confirm for Anderson's story anywhere none existed. Why secure this up now, you entitlement ask. It was discussed in the July/August 1992 reason of the "International UFO Storyteller". Clearly being the reason has been raised another time. Italian UFO pollster, Paolo Martinuz, who has been supporting the Roswell case for existence and who is completing his own book about it, wrote to Friedman, asking him about the bracketed settee. According to the information I traditional from Martinuz, he asked Friedman (undeviating email), "In the book "Clink at Corona" in the consultation to Collect Brazel it's quoted an apex memorandum in vogue the talk of Brazel taking into account Armstrong: He had a (black) sergeant taking into account him. Why "black" is between brackets. In the past few minutes Brazel thought that the sergeant was "black"? Friedman thought, "He thought... [it begins taking into account an N and is a racially charged settee]. I didn't need to use the settee." This disclosure flabbergasted me so I had conducted the consultation. Some time ago the unmarked scuffle erupted, I called Collect Brazel on December 5, 1992 to ask about it, and I recorded the consultation (as I had the first). I thought to him, "I've got one cold bring into disrepute for you if you don't concentration...Think of subsequent to we brought Don Berliner by? He's now air that you thought the sergeant taking into account Chief Armstrong was black." Brazel thought, "No. I didn't say that. Bring about it ain't demand." "I in recent times long-awaited to infer that pillar," I thought. "To my remembrance attractively, that's not demand. I don't think impart was any painted household in the resonance dependent." One alarm to memorandum modish is that Don Berliner did stand an infringe to consultation Collect Brazel in person and that was why I mentioned Berliner to Brazel. But Don Schmitt and I took Berliner to put up the shutters Brazel in his accommodate and all Schmitt and I were turn into at that consultation. Had the settee polish up subsequently, we would stand heard it and I beyond doubt would stand remembered it, especially in 1992. That was the basis I called Collect Brazel, to get him on tape about the use of the settee black... no anywhere had a person suggested anything else.So now the bring into disrepute becomes, why, after all these existence do we stand a new basis for the bracketed word? One that we can agricultural show is unbecoming based on the unmarked 1989 consultation, and genuine by the 1992 consultation. And yes, I listened to all tapes another time to be sure of these points and I command memorandum that Brazel did use the archaic and almost certainly disturbing "painted" but he didn't use the finer racially charged term and, in fact, I never heard him say anything not quite that in all my thought taking into account him.I emailed Friedman about this, manner him taking into account a find of the unmarked article and asking if he had a addendum. He wrote preference that Don Berliner remembered the incident the identical way he did. I clasp this to mean that Berliner remembered that Brazel had cast-off the racially charged settee and they had ingenuously substituted the finer allowed term.So I emailed Don Berliner about this, delineation, momentarily what the scuffle was about, serve the shot of the settee clothed in the consultation that Schmitt and I conducted and this new indict that Collect Brazel had cast-off a very crucial term.Berliner wrote a terse memorandum preference and thought, "I stand exhausted very minor time on Roswell matters in the farther than 15 existence, and stand no clear link of what you and Stan are discussing."The twin bed line modish is motionless that Brazel never cast-off the settee in my image, never suggested that any of the band who visited were black and, in fact, denied it, all on tape. I stand all tapes and can confirm that Brazel didn't say it. Represent is no proof comatose that he did, and he, in fact, denies it.I might say that we're preference to needing a basis to slot in the settee clothed in the consultation, but I think the basis is clear. Jerry Clark explained it. Whatsoever I don't have an effect is why we stand this latest text for produce an effect that. Collect Brazel never thought it and it must not stand been included. It subtly adds to the in advance estranged picture of the Roswell case and that we don't eliminate.
